Paddle for Poverty on a safe, 6-mile, out and back course for the daring and more experienced athlete beginning at 9:00am or Paddle for Poverty on a shorter loop set in the inner bay for the young, young-at-heart, and novice paddlers beginning at 9:30am. Short course participants will be armed with nets and challenged to rescue as many 'Mir Pace' ducks as possible!There will be awards for top finishers, a raffle (see link to the left for this year's fantastic raffle items), and food and refreshments following the races. All ages are invited!Entrance fee: $25.00 per paddler.On-line registration is now closed. If you have missed registering on-line, you can still register on site beginning at 8:00am at Steamboat Wharf Marina. We look forward to seeing you!Need a kayak?Nantasket Kayaks, conveniently located on site at Steamboat Wharf Marina, has a limited number of kayaks available on a first come, first served basis. Contact Scott or Judy at (781) 962-4899.Eastern Mountain Sports, located at the Hingham Shipyard (Rt. 3A), also has kayaks available. Pick up on Friday and drop off after the race!
